Eric Agyare grew up in a community with few support systems for anyone with a brilliant idea. This condition challenged him to develop great pride in connecting the dots. Whether that’s facilitating the school broadcast for three portraits of Amoako Boafo being launched into space or Kanye West’s Donda album streaming in Ghana, one is likely to find him involved, and executing the task brilliantly.
With 13 years of experience working in the visual communication and marketing industry, across Ghana, Nigeria, Sierra Leone, Cote D’Ivoire, Cameroon, and Senegal, Agyare has first-hand knowledge of how impactful the creative arts sector is.
In 2019, Agyare founded an art-influential NGO called Artlife Matters and spearheaded Artitude, a capacity-building project aimed at demystifying the misconceptions surrounding the study of art in senior high schools in Ghana while promoting art as a sustainable career, agyare has impacted over 5000 students and hundreds of guardians on the possibilities in the creative art space. He believes in giving the next generation a chance to make it right through the arts.
In 2021, Agyare secured a deal with Samsung Electronics, as a global partner for the art store. Through that, the works of African artists are carefully curated, managed, and exhibited on frame television at the comfort of customers at a fee, giving artists financial benefits and exposure to a global audience. The partnership averages over a million hourly views monthly.
