About

Eric Agyare is the Founder and Creative Director of Artlife Matters, an initiative he established in 2019 to bridge art and community by empowering creatives and preserving cultural heritage. With a BFA in Communication Design from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (Ghana) and an MSc in Business Development from Óbuda University (Hungary), Eric blends creativity with strategic insight to position art as a catalyst for social, cultural, and economic transformation.

Inspired by how undervalued African creatives often are—both by society and at times by themselves—Eric founded Artlife Matters to champion the belief that creatives are changemakers capable of shaping narratives and building sustainable futures. This mission is evident in projects such as the Unfolding Cultural Heritage Project, the Samsung Art Store partnership, and Artitude, which has impacted over 5,000 students.

In addition to his work at Artlife Matters, Eric serves as Research and Partnership Lead at The Revival Earth, where he amplifies the urgent realities of the textile waste crisis and highlights the innovative methods traders in Ghana’s Kantamanto Market use to keep clothing in circularity.

Through all his roles, Eric continues to advocate for creativity as a powerful tool for development, sustainability, and intercultural dialogue.
